Spaw Sunday Procession and Community Picnic - Sunday 7th May 2023
The Spaw Sunday celebrations will take place once again, with music and dancing from the Ryburn Broadswords, a procession from the Hinchliffe to the spa (next to Spa Laithe Farm), where there will be the traditional blessing, more music and dancing from the Ryburn Broadswords and a (free) community picnic. Everyone will be welcome. Timing as follows:
12.00 Hubbub opens at St. John's for early birds - pop in for a cuppa, a bite, a chat
2.15 The Ryburn Broadswords will provide music and dancing outside the Hinchliffe
2.30 the Procession will head towards the Spa, passing the Robin Hood at around 2.45
3.00 The blessing will be held at the spa, followed by more music and dancing from the Ryburn Broadswords, and the community picnic
