Cragg Vale Heritage Trail

The Heritage Trail Storyboards have been installed at six sites along the valley.

Each board gives further background information to the local area and the six boards link to provide an informative and scenic walk through Cragg Vale past and present.

The boards include artwork from children from Calder Valley Steiner School and Cragg Vale J&I School.

The Trail Guide is available from Hebden Bridge Tourist Office. It can be downloaded with an 'e-trail App' (with map, walk, directions, audio commentaries and historical photographs) from www.penineheritage.org.uk/Trails

Cragg Vale Community Association wants to say a special ‘Thank You’ to Calderdale Council, Hebden Royd Town Council and Craggs Energy for their financial support, to Pennine Horizons, Yorkshire Wildlife Trust and RSPB for use of their photographs and to CROWS for putting the boards in place.
